Parents/carers should first contact the Local Authority (LA) to apply for a placement in King’s Academy Lord Wilson. More information can be found here: www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning
If you are in the process of looking for a suitable Special School placement and are being advised by the LA to make visits, these are welcome at any time through the assessment/consultation process for your child. Please contact the school office on enquires@kgalordwilson.uk to arrange a visit and a suitable time.
The Senior Leadership Team assesses each student’s referral papers as supplied by the Special Educational Needs department of the LA. The Headteacher will advise overall suitability to the LA who will then confirm the offer of a place in writing, and advise you of the transport arrangements.
Our number on roll (APN) is 58 students and our age range is 11 – 16 years old.
